Self-adaptation of ¡®LG Way¡¯
  The ¡®LG Way¡¯ helps us to reach the ¡®First LG¡¯ goal by putting the philosophy
of value creation for customers and human respect by management into
the practice of fair management. The ¡¯LG Way¡¯ becomes meaningful only when
thoughts, behavior and management-related activities of all LG members, from
administrative staff to executives, are performed on the basis of fair management
and 'First LG'. LG Academy will strive to fix the ¡®LG Way¡¯as a powerful enterprise
culture that symbolizes LG. Ultimately, the role and mission of LG Academy is to
achieve our anticipated ¡®First LG¡¯as soon as possible so that the ¡®LG Way¡¯ spreads
out in the world.

The compulsory 6 courses phased for each job level are : new staff member -
level ¥² promotion - level ¥± promotion - level ¥° promotion - pre-managerial -
new executive. Each course is divided into pre-education through our
Cyber Academy and group education at LG Academy in order to optimize efficiency.
Differentiated content of the compulsory training focuses on a five-subject core
in order to maximize our management philosophy educational efficacy.

  Our courses are focused on the systematic development of talent able to cope
with future management environments. Professional job fields are classified
into 6 categories : strategy & planning, purchasing, sales & marketing, service,
finance and HR. Each category has phased programs from basic to professional
to strategic. In order to insure the sustainability of programs that
cultivate professionals, LG is concentrating on the core competencies of
its training. This will allow LG to cope with an ever-changing business environment
and will reinstall job professionalism within the programs.

LG Cyber Academy
  LG Cyber Academy is equipped with on-line system in which each leaner can
access via own PC and take courses according to his/her level and needs.
Specifically, the LG Cyber Academy is open not only to foreign participants
who wish to take cyber training course but also to participants form small-and
medium-sized firms. Furthermore, the LG¡¯s Cyber Academy web-based
language school provides tailored language education balanced with
the learner¡¯s level in English, Japanese, Chinese, French and German.
LG Academy will go on with efforts to further develop the system and additional
services which meet the various needs of learners.
